Once I discovered this situation, I decided to write to the romanian police. I found out their E-mail address via Google and I wrote them with all details + copies of the Western Union receipts. To my surprise, the Romanian police reacted immediately and arrested the young Romanian lady. She was questioned for more than 5 hours. Strangely, 3 days later this romanian scammer sent me 1500 Euros back via Western Union. I received this money without any problem. By this message I would advise all those who were cheated to send a message to the police of the country of the scammer. It's easy to find out the E-mail addresses on the internet. I'm an investigative journalist writing a book on scams and scammers. A section of the book is about romantic scams. I posted a profile on yahoo personals and received two replies. One from Lyskovo Russia name Ekaterina Kukarina: this girl isn't that good. Replies too long winded. Terrible pics. The second Alena Kornilova was good: short snappy reply, only took six letters to move from initial contact to request for money. And great pics: from the sweet girl at the zoo to sultry creature lying by a pool in Tunis. This girl should be in the movies. I'd heard about Stop Scammers so I checked her out. And there she was as Olga Tihomirova: exact same letters. She must be getting lazy. So watch out for her. If anyone is interested in sharing their scams with me I can be contacted at robmacca@yahoo.com. I wont use any material without permission and I promise to change the names to protect the innocent.
